Adult BTW

Adult Behind the Wheel- To be able to take this course you must be 18 and older, have completed the drivers education classroom instruction, have a valid VA learners permit and have at least 20 hours of driving experience. This program is a 7 day program typically starting on a Monday and road testing on Sunday. This program includes the DMV road test to receive your drivers license, this is why it is important for you to have had driving experience. Without any driving experience you will not be ready to road test in only 7 days. If you do not have any driving experience we do offer private lessons.

Confirmation of this reservation is not complete until the office has spoken to you. Once this is submitted the office will reach out to go over details and to confirm. Unfortunately, available spots are filling up fast and we cannot guarantee this date until everything is confirmed, if this spot is no longer available by the time the office reaches you the next available date will be offered. You will be required to pay a $25 reservation fee to reserve the spot once confirmation is made, which is applied towards the $350 behind the wheel fee, unless you should reschedule, cancel or no show. If for some reason you have to reschedule, cancel or no show you will lose the deposit and in order to reschedule you will be required to pay another deposit.

If you do agree to meet the instructor, which would be necessary if you are not in the 22405 area, you will be required to pay a $25 late fee for not being at the designated location for pick and or drop off. Unfortunately, everyone is on a tight schedule and just do not have the extra time to wait for a student to be dropped off or picked up. If you agree to meet the instructor all final arrangements for meeting location and times will be discussed and confirmed directly with the instructor. The office will not be able to tell you anything more than it will be in the 22405 area. If you have any time preferences or restrictions, please make sure the office is aware and can put that in the notes for the instructor and the instructors are really good about trying to accommodate, if possible, but this is not a guarantee. Please keep in mind the schedule has to work for everyone, your child, other students and the instructor, so the more flexible you are able to be the smoother the entire process will go. We really appreciate your understanding, and we look forward to servicing you and or your child needs. You will not hear from the instructor until a few days before the scheduled start date.

Please understand ever since COVID we have been running on a tight schedule trying our best to get everyone the training they need in a timely fashion. We are booked out for some time but if you are interested and we have a cancellation we will be happy to reach out and offer you the available spot. We try our best to complete each behind the wheel student in the 7 days for the week they are scheduled. Please if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.
